In the world of Hip Hop, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs personal style is suave, sophisticated and devastatingly dapper. How is it that in a corner of the industry where so many reek, Diddy is able to come up smelling like a sartorial rose?  The truth is that Sean Combs changed the whole look and feel of hip hop in the early to mid nineties when he helped groom acts such as Jodeci and Marie Blige … then burst on the scene after discovering the Notorious B.I.G. Then Combs took it a step further by flaunting the epitome of wealth in music videos while rocking Rolex Watches, fur coats and guzzling champagne like it was Dasani water.  I guess it’s safe to say that the word ‘subtle’ isn’t a good verb for Combs, but it doesn’t mean a thing, since a significant portion of the male population could seriously use his sense of style.   Perhaps his lavish lifestyle is part of his charm and we’re feeling ‘Dirty Money’ these days too.  Interestingly, it seems that Diddy has always had a thing for the color White.   All white parties in the Hamptons, white suits, even the occasional white hat — they’re all good in Diddy’s book.

Those of us who have followed your style selections since the early days know there is more than the color white to talk about. From time to time we’ve seen Diddy in Sean John track suits and a baseball cap, but to be honest, he was barely recognizable. We did a double-take, because Diddy is really at home in a suit. In fact, there may not be anyone who can break a move in a three-piece quite so effortlessly. Sure, it’s in a music video, but this isn’t just an on-set stylist’s success, because Sean always looks just as put together on the red carpet or while hosting a lavish party in an exclusive location.  Til the end of time, Sean Combs will be credited for bringing the ‘luxury’ into the hip hop world.

Dress The Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Way

Combs favors 3 piece suits on various shades of gray, gunmetal and white.  When donning a tuxedo, he usually prefers the contrast of a white jacket with black slacks and bow tie.  Diddy is rarely seen in public without a pair of shades… and a bottle of Ciroc Vodka.  The music mogul also has an affinity for fur and drop dead gorgeous women.
